I believe that art is about communication and I have been actively “communicating” through my art since the age of four. For me, my art in whatever medium has always been my most effective means of communicating the inspirations and observations I believe worthy of commentary. “Art transcends the ambiguity of language - a single painting can speak volumes.” It is my belief that being an Artist is neither a job, or a trade but rather a way of being - it defines who you are, and the true difficulty is not in learning style or technique, but rather in learning to accept that “definition” - I define myself as an Artist in a constant process of becoming - we learn by doing and through a continued process of communicating through art, we attain the freedom to access our directness. “True art is a journey to rediscover the simplicity you already possess” I believe artistic ability is a gift; a connection to the divine through which each individual Artist focuses the infinite potential of all possibility in their own unique way - accepting this gift and allowing it to “define” you comes with the responsibility to share that gift with the rest of the World. If we learn by doing, then it is my intent as an Artist to do the work... “There are no shortcuts to the process”
